NASA STS-75 "Tether Incident"

Neioh – These are detectors from Andromeda. All Races use them and they can range in size and shape. The pulsating is the device within that is checking Vibrational Frequencies. As Races explore, they must also check the area for large debris and matter that could explode if impacted by a craft. These detectors are sent out from a craft to assure the area is clear if there are doubts about the path. They return to the craft with commands.
